Lara Croft and Nathan Drake - Greatness From Small Beginnings

Lara Croft and Nathan Drake. The two are, debatably, the most popular video game explorers of all time. While they have many
differences including: Gender, Age,  Weapons, and Styles of Exploration, they have one very important detail they both share. Greatness from small beginnings. In Tomb Raider Legends we discover that Lara lost her mother at the tender age of 9. She then proceeded to live with her father, hardly leaving his side. Losing one parent was already a tragedy to Lara, losing the 2nd would probably lead to insanity, or at least the brink of. When Lara reached the age of 15 her father had went missing and it has never been reported what happened to him. Nathan Drake, also at a very tender age, this time being 5, had his mother commit suicide. Nate's father then relinquished the custody of him and proceeded to turn him over to Saint Francis Boys' Home where he was raised by nuns. Nate eventually ran away from the home and rambled his way till he reached Columbia.
In the past passage you've read how two, seemingly different characters have 1 very similar trait, and in a way, it has developed a good majority of their back story. Thank you for reading this article, I hope you enjoyed.
