Lara Croft and Nathan Drake. The two are, debatably, the most popular video game explorers of all time. While they have many

Nathan Drake, also at a very tender age, this time being 5, had his mother commit suicide. Nate's father then relinquished the custody of him and proceeded to turn him over to Saint Francis Boys' Home where he was raised by nuns. Nate eventually ran away from the home and rambled his way till he reached Columbia.
